RESCUE STORY
Spirit: Rising from Neglect
Spirit was found severely malnourished and weak at an abandoned farm. Weighing only 60% of his ideal body weight, he barely had the strength to stand.
After 8 months of intensive care, nutritional therapy, and lots of love, Spirit has made a full recovery. He’s now a spirited horse who helps in our therapy programs.

Luna: Finding Trust Again
Luna was rescued from a traumatic abuse situation. When she first arrived, she was terrified of humans and refused to be approached.
Our team spent months building trust with Luna through gentle, patient approaches. Today, Luna is one of the most affectionate horses at our sanctuary.

Thunder: A Dignified Retirement
Thunder is a 25-year-old former racehorse who was scheduled for euthanasia after he was no longer productive. His previous owner deemed him to have no value.
We believe every horse deserves a dignified retirement. Thunder now enjoys his days peacefully grazing in open pastures and mentoring younger horses.
💛 Thunder has enjoyed 3 happy years with us and has inspired countless people about the importance of caring for senior horses.

Hope: A New Beginning
Hope was born at our sanctuary from a pregnant mare we rescued. Her mother, Star, was rescued in a severely weakened and pregnant condition.
Hope’s birth was a miraculous moment that reminded us of new life and hope. She has grown into a healthy, spirited foal, a symbol of our rescue mission.
